MML Faculty Member, Rebekah Hickok was recently inducted into the Greater Des Moines Flute Choir and has the honor to perform with them in April. Rebekah can play the full spectrum of flutes, including the piccolo, alto, C, and bass flutes and will perform this program alto and bass flute. Rebekah will also make her debut with a flute quartet, featuring Erika McKnight, Logan Barnes, and Sarah Richards.

Featured songs for the flute choir include "Baby Elephant Walk" by Mancini, "Flute Cocktail" by Mayne, and "The New World Symphony" by Dvorak, arranged by one of the Greater Des Moines Flute Choir flutists, Logan Barnes. Flute quartet selections include a Japanese song and two movements from "Harmony in Blue and Gold" by Eric Ewazen.
